SHOW UP
When we brought our Climate Action Plan initiative before the Grand Marais City Council in 2017, we exceeded the official capacity of City Hall. Such a level of attendance is really rare for a local government meeting--and it sent a strong message. Our Resolution passed unanimously.

We'd like to do that again. The most impactful thing that you can do as an individual is to physically show up to the County Board meeting where we present our Resolution.

We don't know exactly when that meeting will take place, but if you sign our petition (below), we'll email you and let you know. You can also keep tabs on our upcoming events on our events page.
SIGN THE PETITION
Sign and support our local initiative to create a Cook County Climate Action Plan. Join us and show Cook County that we call for immediate action on the climate crisis by passing a Resolution committing the County to creating a powerful Climate Action Plan (CAP). Add your voice to demonstrate support for the Resolution and to demand that OUR county takes meaningful action now. Share this petition with all your friends - spread the word!
